Why did you choose University of Arizona - Anesthesiology?
The camaraderie between the residents at University of Arizona is really outstanding! I love my co-residents, the laid back atmosphere, the excellent working relationship between faculty and residents, and the amount of autonomy that is afforded to residents. I love to MTB and hike, and the outdoors scene is outstanding! From the untamed desert floor to the cooler weather and pine trees at the top of Mount Lemmon, it is great to be outside year-round!
Favorite activity in Tucson?
My absolute favorite thing is the Full Moon Ride at Saguaro National Park East. A group of 30-70 people meet up to ride the 9-mile paved loop around the park using only the light of the moon. After the ride, people hang out at Saguaro Corners for a post-ride beer and food!
