Clinical Trials

The Department of Anesthesiology faculty are involved in clinical research that covers a broad base of anesthesia subspecialties, including ambulatory, cardiovascular, neurosurgical, obstetric, pediatric, transplantation, and chronic pain anesthesia management. Patient and volunteer human studies are reviewed and monitored by the University of Arizona Human Subjects Protection Program.
