Why did you choose University of Arizona - Anesthesiology?
The biggest reasons to consider UA Anesthesiology are the faculty, autonomy and diverse case-load. The faculty are supportive and devoted to teaching and seeing residents succeed. I feel that even as a resident I can make decisions that impact patient care and formulate my own anesthetic plans. Faculty are supportive of trying different techniques and plans as long as it aligns with patient safety. You will immediately see a wide variety of cases with varying levels of complexity to continually push your limits.
Favorite activity in Tucson?
Eating all the food! And taking my kids fishing at our community lake.
