Where do you consider your hometown to be?
Antioch, CA

What are your personal hobbies?
I’m super extroverted, and I love hobbies that I can share with others. Some of the outdoor things I enjoy are hiking and camping (like everyone else in Tucson). Experiences that I enjoy sharing include eating cheese and drinking wine, poolside lounging, bar trivia, going out dancing, and watching live music. When I’m feeling a little more introverted I enjoy watching British TV shows, hanging with my pup (Nathaniel Pawthorne), discovering new EDM, and watching Rupaul’s Drag Race.

Why did you choose University of Arizona - Anesthesiology?
I did a rotation during my fourth year of medical school and was drawn in by the strong camaraderie between the residents. I was also impressed by their autonomy and clinical skills. The city itself offered a nice respite from California traffic and high cost of living, while providing tranquil desert landscapes.

Favorite activity in Tucson?
Dominating trivia at the local microbreweries
